Okay for some reason I'm not feeling this E-Class at all....that interior is way too 80's looking and it that rear-end is ....actually it's ugly... sorry... i'll pass... I don't even know how they'll make the E63 version of this look aggressive and mean

Taillights look like they have been borrowed from 3-series coupe. Headlights are still f-d up. Interior looks too boxy and dull tbh.

I love the new E-Class and am going to wait for it! This new design will grow on people just like the S-Class did in 2007..

The appeal of this car is not for the average joe or anyone who is in their twenties dreaming of an executive level car. This car is however tailor for the parents of those twenty-year olds and executive level persons.
Also styling wise this E is quite successful at capturing the essence of the 80's (Merc;s prime) and also the market for the current now 60 yr old baby boomers who has the money to own one of these. That being said the styling is something that is of a comfort food for those who wished they had an E back in the 80's but were not financially stable to do so - but is able to own one now. Hence, this car's design and rich use of materials and textures are extremely exclusive and tactile - a reflection of the way things were, real tested and true.

A key move in this direction is the new digital radio display for changing the channels - one that is designed as a analog pin that is reminiscent of the olden days where the baby boomers first had their cars.

    Great Job Merc!
