GM and Ford have been market driven manufacturers and now GM seems to be acting like a bimbo to keep their new sugar daddy (Congressional Democrats) happy. Or is this going to become a dominant/submissive relationship?

If Congress forces GM product production to eliminate fun and utility in favor of a heavy Green product line, GM could find itself to be a shadow of its former self and a niche manufacturer.

Will the Corvette go to front wheel drive and get a V6 or a hybrid version with a burning hot 0 to 60 time of 7.3 seconds? Could the CTS V be available with 6 and 4 cylinder choices? What will the Congressional smack down give the auto enthusiast?

Ford, stay strong and stay independent.

GM, it has been nice knowing you.

Re: Cadillac coupe concept with Volt-like drivetrain coming to Detroit

Uninspired. Please don't make it look like this. Its not differentiated enough from the Chevy. BIG problem for GM... brand dilution. It should be way more progressive. Please get some REAL designers or fire all the old farts at the top their time is so over we need a new word for "over."

Re: Cadillac coupe concept with Volt-like drivetrain coming to Detroit

This...is gonna be good.
